One of the deadliest bounty hunters in Goldenclad.
Bio: Takeshita warriors are trained from day one to be deadly, and Mai certainly lives up to that. Born on the same day as a six-petaled spiralvine bloomed, it was an omen of power and greatness in the child's future, though also a warning of ruin. Throughout Mai's whole life, this omen has weighed on her every step. The leaders of the Takeshita clan saw a weapon within her, a potential for greatness. A weapon is what she is, and a weapon is what she always will be. She was isolated from her peers, taught privately and trained to erase all personal convictions in favor of the clan's. While heading home from the market with her mother, she came across a small boy bleeding out in a dark corner of the city, with a god standing over him. "Take good care of him, now." Said the god, before dissapearing. Her newfound brother, Kingyo, stoked resentment in her blood brother, who now found his sister caring for this boy more than she ever cared for him. He compteted with Kingyo for attention and favor, until one day he couldn't take it anymore. He left Mai's life, taking her eye with him. Now, she spends her days taking bounties and taking care of Kingyo, all the while wondering where her brother could have gone.
